I'm moving from Michigan to either North Carolina or South Carolina I haven't decided yet. I'm moving south for jobs, sunshine, warm weather, golf, and most importantly fishing. I don't want to live ON the coast because of weather (storms/rain) and I don't want to be too close to the mountains for the same reason (cold/snow) I don't want to be directly IN the big cities like Charlotte, NC or Columbia, SC but I'd like it if I was within a short commute. So far I have been most interested in places like Hickory, NC and Rock Hill, SC. I know that I don't want to live any further north than Charlotte and wouldn't mind living as far south as Charleston, SC. What are some nice small to midsized cities that meet these conditions??? Keep in mind I love to fish and golf so being close by lakes and golf courses is key. Thanks more

Heyy you guys : ) what's up! Okay so i'm a newbie here is Hickory NC .. so far i loveeee it here : ) Me + My hubby and little girl moved here about 2 weeks ago, so i'm still new with the area. I have browsed through alot of different places, main thing i was looking for is a good pediatrician for my lil girl to go to. She just turned one a week ago and her one year old shots is coming up, and im wanting to go ahead and change doctors up here so i can get that done, but i dont know of any good doctors, can someone please tell me a good doc around the area, i would love if you have actural taking your child to this doctor, because like i said earlier i browsed the internet and found tons of different places just dont know what one has the best docs. if so please give address + number. thanks a ton more

I am trying to save my 13 year old niece. My sister knows nothing about makeup. I sent a huge amount of Bare Eccentuals at Xmas. I not sure if she knows how to use it. im 15 and live in hickory nc, does anybody know a good flight instructor or ultralight airport i should go to? , i have a big field behind my house and im wondering if i can use it to fly and land planes on it, can you fly planes by yourself if you have completed the 20 hours of flight time but you don't have your license yet because it will take 2 years before i turn 17 and i think you have to be 17 to get a license. if i buy a plane after i finish training what ultralight plane do you think i should get for under $15000. thanks!!! more

Things in Madison are going pretty good. I actually live in a suburb (Mt. Horeb, WI ) and the shops are all open (individual owner shops) and the owners tell me that business is good. I had to park across the street at the mall, it actually seemed like there were more customers then last year. Housing market has slowed a little but three new homes were built on my street this year. There seem to be a lot of jobs and I do not know anyone who has been laid off or lost their job. Okay so our teacher posed a scenario involving water pollution to us today and I am having trouble with some of the answers... Basically, a tanker carrying 10,000 Gallons of HCl (hydrochloric acid) flipped over on a bridge on Snow Creek Road (location is Hickory, NC 28601). The tanker broke and the HCl leaked into Snow Creek. Snow Creek leads to Lake Hickory which is where our water comes from. So the questions.
